When I started redoing my kitchen, I was overwhelmed by the number of options available. Then I found Tile Tramp! Her personalized advice was exactly what I needed to narrow down the options and get pointed in the right direction. She gave me her opinion, explained what was behind it, sent me links to products that might work, and patiently and cheerfully bore with my many questions and second-guessing. What an amazing resource! (And the beautiful photos on her site routinely send me into paroxysms of tile-induced bliss.)

I have really enjoyed reading The TileTramp’s blog since I started thinking about my kitchen renovation months ago. And I so appreciated knowing that he/she was available to consult with me regarding “all things tile”. Recently, I was struggling with the size of my framed tile piece behind the range. I emailed TileTramp a mock up of my space and I quickly received a very helpful and thoughtful reply back. TileTramp drew in all my tile on my little mock up so that I can see exactly how the framed piece would look behind the range. I thought I knew how big it should be, but it wasn’t until I saw TileTramp’s recommendation did I realize I would have made it too small. Thank you TileTramp for your very helpful and interesting blog and for your willingness to provide free consultations to your readers!

I would like to applaud you for a job well done. As a “newbie” interior design/kitchen design consultant, I quickly learned there are many intricacies to tile design and that clients become overwhelmed when faced with the thought of how to deal with a kitchen back splash and/or a tile layout for their bathroom. Your tips and images are of great practical use and have given provided great reference material to show clients. It is hard time consuming to keep a blog up when life has so many demands, but I do hope you find time to continue as I thoroughly enjoy what you have to say and what you have to offer! Also, don’t let negativity get you down…seems that people want something for nothing and should consider that free advice comes from the heart and should not be expected but instead, appreciated.
